If you have been an O2 customer for a few years now the you may want to upgrade your tariff. You can get lots of free texts by doing this in conjunction with topping up £10-15 a month. Visit the O2 Website and create an account. From there you can pick a new tariff and you can change this every month if you wish.

This is advantageous for Pay and Go customers.

I came across this website the other day and liked the idea of it. They give you code to insert in web pages of your choice on your website. When the page loads it plays a five second clip of sound advertising another website, product or company etc. The advert that is played is also related to the content of your website.

They claim that five seconds is long enough to leave an impression on the listener and say its short enough not to annoy them. However if you are browsing many pages of a website and they have implemented this on every page, it is more than likely going to become irritating.

This system is probably rendered useless if the user has their sound off lol.

As a publisher of a website you can benefit by being paid per click or sale that you send from your site to an advertisers website. Clients using Google Adwords can opt not only for their adverts to be displayed on Googles search pages, but also on publishers websites. Googles system for advert publishers is called Adsense.

PPC or Pay Per Click publishers are given code to add to their website. The publisher will select a website category, or the publishing system will select relevent ads to show. As the website owner you get money from when adverts on your website are clicked.

Google Adsense, Bidvertiser and Adbrite are just a few systems.
